Missing cat returns after 2 years only to be rejected by his owners, then adopts a doctor and proves love is the best medicine

New love is the best medicine for heartbreak. 

And it really is heartbreaking when you find an abandoned cat whose owners don't want him back. Microchipped and everything, you would think that this cat was loved, but clearly, he wasn't. It's one thing to lose your cat. That is something that can happen to anyone. It happened to me. I was careful, but my parents weren't. They left the balcony open, and just like that, my kitty was gone. The 24 hours that it took her to find her way back to me were the worst 24 hours of my life, and that is the normal response. What isn't normal is, when someone else finds your cat and gets in touch with you, for you to tell them that you don't want your cat anymore. 

That's what happened in today's story, and whenever that happens, heartbroken as we are for the cat, we are also glad. Because people like that don't deserve cats in the first place. This kitty deserved better. And now, finally, he has it. He has chosen a new human - a doctor. Tried to adopt her in a parking lot and failed, so he went straight to the hospital where she works, made himself at home, and waited, patiently, for her to finally get a clue and adopt him.
